Nancy’s mother was Carrie Inez Miles, born September 23, 1909 in Laporte, Hubbard County, Minnesota. She died in Safford, Graham County, Arizona on November 15, 1998 and is buried in the St. David Cemetery, St. David, Cochise County, Arizona.

Thomas and Carrie were married on May 14, 1931 in St. David, Cochise County, Arizona. They had four children. NANCY was their second child, only daughter.

GORDON M. SLOAN was born on January 13, 1938 in Espanola, Rio Arriba County, New Mexico. He died at home in Willcox, Cochise County, Arizona on January 31, 2003 and is buried in the Riggs Family Cemetery.

Gordon's father was Andrew Benjamin Sloan, born on September 11, 1911 in Corona, Lincon County, New Mexico. He died in Benson, Cochise County, Arizona on November 24, 1969 and is buried in the St. David Cemetery, St. David, Cochise County, Arizona.

Gordon's mother was Mary Kathleen (Scarborough) Sloan, born on March 28, 1918 in La Madera, Rio Arriba County, New Mexico. She died in St. David, Cochise County, Arizona on December 31, 1990 and is buried in the St. David Cemetery, St. David, Cochise County, Arizona.

Gordon's parents were married in Quamado, Catron, New Mexico on May 1, 1936 and had four children. GORDON was their first child, only son.
