AUTOMOBILE DEALERSHIP

The advent of the Automobile led to selling cars and William became a partner in a car
dealership in Willcox. Willcox Motor Supply Company was owned by L.V. McCourt and
William Riggs in 1914.  It was a Chevrolet dealership at the time of this photograph, but
later it sold and serviced Fords. Located on the corner of Haskell Avenue and Grant
Streets. Several banks have since occupied this site, including the People’s bank, Union
Bank, Arizona Bank, Compass Bank and PNC Bank.
